Ms Deshnee Naidoo

            Ms Deshnee Naidoo joined the Group in 2014 in the role of CEO, Zinc International and as CEO Copper Mines of Tasmania in February 2015. Ms. Naidoo has over 20 years of extensive experience in the natural resources industry, including platinum, thermal coal, manganese and zinc. Prior to joining Vedanta, Ms Naidoo was part of the Anglo American leadership where she held positions across operations in various capacities. Ms Naidoo holds a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Natal and Certification in Finance and Accounting from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

Mr Arun Kumar GR

            Mr Arun Kumar GR was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Vedanta in September 2016. Mr Kumar joined the group in 2013 as CFO for the company's Aluminium & Power business. In 2014, he moved into the role of Executive Vice President Finance & Deputy CFO, as part of which he was responsible for enhancing the capability of the finance function in the areas of accounting, risk management, driving value creation, strategic planning, re-financing, board reporting and governance and direct taxation. As a Chartered Accountant, Mr Kumar has over 21 years of experience at global companies such as Hindustan Unilever and General Electric. Prior to joining Vedanta, Arun was the CFO for General Electric's Asia-Pacific Lighting & Appliances business based out of Shanghai.

Mr R Kishore Kumar

            Mr Kumar joined the Group in April 2003 and has held various executive roles including Chief Executive Officer of Sterlite Copper from 2007 to 2008, Chief Executive Officer of KCM from 2008 to 2011, Chief Executive Officer of Zinc International from 2011 to 2013 and Chief Executive Officer, Africa (Base Metals) from 2013 to 2015. He was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Group’s Iron Ore businesses with effect from February 2015 and is leading the revival of profitable, low-cost iron ore mining operations in Goa and Karnataka as well as developing the Liberian project. Mr Kumar has nearly 32 years of experience and expertise in accountancy, commerce, marketing, supply chain management, mergers and acquisitions, human capital development, business turnaround and policy advocacy. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Kumar worked at Hindustan Lever Limited for 12 years.

Mr Peter Walker

            Mr Walker is General Manager – Care & Maintenance of CMT. He has over 20 years’ experience and is well versed in Safety, General Management, HR Management and Project Management. He is a member of the Professional Australian Human Resources Institute (CAHRI) and the Project Management Institute and the Member – WA Law Society. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce – BComm (Human Resources Management), a Bachelors of Law – LLB from Charles Darwin University and also commenced Master of Occupational Health and Safety – MOHS through Edith Cowan University.
